Through the Miami-Dade County New Mobility Initiative, the County is introducing three pilot projects to help improve mobility in the County and is inviting the community to provide feedback and ideas for integrating these mobility options into their communities. For the first mobility solution, Miami-Dade County partnered with Kiwibot to pilot an autonomous delivery robots program to support the delivery of food and everyday items to residents in Downtown Miami, Brickell and beyond. Learn more about Kiwibot from their website below:

For the second mobility solution, Miami-Dade County will be introducing their GO Connect pilot project as part of the Miami-Dade County New Mobility Initiative.

From the GO Connect website: “Reserve a ride to Miami-Dade Transit stations or nearby destinations directly from the GO Connect mobile app. GO Connect meets you wherever you are as long as you’re within the service zone.

You’ll be matched with other passengers heading in the same direction. The maximum number of riders per vehicle has been limited in compliance with social distancing guidelines set forth by Miami-Dade County and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
